1964-2024
Victor R. Mitchell, Sr, 81, was born Nov. 29, 1943 in Lyons, KS. He married Clara (Jantz) 60 years ago on May 4, 1964. She survives along with Victor Jr., Sheldon and grandson, MacKenzie.
Vic was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army and stationed in Lawton, OK. Vic was co-owner with Clara of “Vic’s Place”, the original “Vic’s” and “Clic’s”.
Vic loved billiards-making, selling and collecting cue sticks. Vic was a certified pool instructor and loved teaching and instructing. He was also a very dedicated racecar builder, owner and driver.
Due to a lengthy battle of COVID in 2019-2020, heart and diabetes complications, a stroke in 2023 left him totally blind and disabled. He became unable to hold his own and went to join his maker Saturday, December 21, 2024.
A Celebration of Vic's life will be held at a later date.
