Sandi passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at her home. She was born on February 2, 1971 to Stan Renfro and Teresa Hogg Ward. She married Rance Ramsey on July 15, 1989 in Lamesa, Tx., they were married 35 years.
We celebrate and honor the life of an extraordinary woman—a woman whose spirit shone brightly, whose laughter was infectious, and whose love and loyalty knew no limit.
Sandi made friends easily, and once you became her friend, you knew you had a companion for life. Sandi had a big heart and she gave of herself so freely, embracing others with a warm smile and kindness. She saw the good in people and always chose joy, no matter the circumstances. It was her nature to see hope in all things, even when times were tough.
Her love for her family and friends was fierce and unwavering. She supported and loved them with a strength that came from the very core of her being. As a wife, she was devoted to Rance, her rock, and her steady place in this world. The love they shared was undeniable, and it was clear to everyone who knew them just how much they meant to each other. Together, they were a testament to the power of love and partnership.
She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a mother-in-law, a friend, and a cherished “Gramsey". She found a new kind of love—unconditional, pure, and filled with pride. Her bond with Silas was something truly special, and she poured her heart into being the best Gramsey she could be.
We all love and admire her infectious energy, her love of dancing, and the way she could light up any room she walked into. Whether she was playing, laughing, or simply sharing her joy, she had a rare gift for putting smiles on the faces of those around her. It was impossible not to be drawn to her, to feel uplifted and encouraged by her presence.
Sandi's ability to open her arms and welcome new people was one of the many qualities that made her so special. She created space where people could be themselves; safe in the knowledge that they were accepted.
Though she is no longer with us physically, her love, her joy, and the example she was through the love and friendship she leaves behind will continue to live on. We will carry her memory in our hearts, and we will remember her for the way she loved us all—fiercely, unconditionally, and with a heart full of light.
Sandi, You have left this world a better place, and we are forever grateful for the time we had with you. You will be missed.... UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!
