Robert Warren “Dusty” Wade, 68, of Little River, Kansas, passed away March 15, 2025, at Rice Community Hospital, Lyons. He was born March 7, 1957, in Sacramento, California. Dusty has resided in Little River for the past three years, formerly of Redding and Shasta Lake, California. He was a high school graduate. Dusty was a logger in Shasta Lake, CA, and was a karate instructor for many years. He attended the Congregational Church, Little River and the Assembly of God Church in Redding, CA. Dusty enjoyed karate, taekwondo, fishing with his son, and gardening. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Dusty is survived by his foster mom, Anne Shackelford; one daughter; two step daughters; and some grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and son. Graveside funeral service will be Saturday March 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River, with Pastor Ted Weis officiating. Memorials may be given to the Congregational Church, Little River, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
