Rebecca “Becky” Jane Matlock Martinez, 63, of Fredonia, Kan., passed away on December 19, 2024 in Overland Park.
She was born February 16, 1961 to Alvin and Joyce (Caylor) Matlock.
Becky was known for her fun personality, witty spirit and love for animals. She cherished her close bonds with her family and friends.
Becky is survived by numerous cousins on both the Matlock and Caylor sides of the family, along with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Alvin Matlock, her mother Joyce Matlock, and her siblings Teresa, Leota, Wayne and Larry.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Becky’s memory at a later date.
Becky will be missed, leaving a legacy of laughter and love to those she held closest.
