1943-2025
Patricia May Anderson, age 81, of Iola, Kansas, passed away January 12, 2025, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Pat was born August 8, 1943, in Wichita, Kansas, to Walter Gardiner and Beaulah (Lynch) Gardiner.
Pat graduated from Pittsburg State University. She owned and operated Pat's Upholstery, her upholstery and used furniture business in Iola for 40 years before retiring.
Pat was known as a hard worker, an avid animal lover, and a feisty woman with a heart of gold. She loved spending time with family, especially her granddaughter and her great-grandchildren, but she loved spending almost as much time at the casino.
Pat will be dearly missed by her family and friends, especially her daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Sheldon, with whom she resided for the past four years.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter James Gardiner, Jerry Gardiner; and her twin brother, Patrick Michael Gardiner.
Pat is survived by daughter, Angel (Sheldon) Liberty; granddaughter, Heaven (Clinton) Folk; and four great-grandchildren, Weston James Folk, HarperMae Jade Folk, Hendrix Smith Folk, Zeppelin Rune Folk.
Cremation will take place and the family will plan a celebration of life service at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF), and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
