Lynford Becker, 94, passed away January 9, 2025 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro. He was born July 6, 1930 in Isabella, Oklahoma to Edward and Anna (Fast) Becker.

MaryAnn Wright, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Born March 8, 1937, in Swea City, Iowa, to Henry and Bessie (Denton) Groen, MaryAnn lived a life filled with love, family, and dedicated service.

Dale’s life began on November 18, 1925, at Axtell Hospital in Newton. He was the son of Clark and Elsie (Kimball) Miller.

Regina “Gina” Marie Bradley, 73, passed away January 5, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Diana “Diane” S. Bitler, 73, died January 9, 2025, at Coffey County Hospital, Burlington. She was born July 1, 1951, in Emporia, to Frank and Maxine (Wieland) Phillips. Diane graduated from Emporia High School in 1969. She was a homemaker while her daughters were growing up and then went to work as a waitress at Peggy Sue’s. She had also worked at Hoover’s for a few years.

Alice Marie Sleezer Chambers, 95, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Thursday evening, January 9, 2025, at the Coffey County Hospital in Burlington.

James Lee “Jim” Canfield, 89, passed away January 10, 2025, at Medicalodges Great Bend, Kansas. He was born April 20, 1935, in Great Bend, to James “Luther” and Agnes (Nichols) Canfield. On August 13, 1960, he married Leona M. Wondra in Great Bend.

Carla Renae Bailey was born December 13, 1959, to Bonnie Bailey in Beloit, KS. She passed away on December31, 2024 at her home, at the age of 55.

Mary Alice Shaffer, 71, of Bushton, Kansas, passed away January 11, 2025, at Riverview Estates, Marquette, Kansas.
