With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Jean Luster Engstrom, 77, on December 30, 2024. She passed peacefully in Wichita, KS, surrounded by her loving family.

Gregory “Greg” James Teague, 65, of Hutchinson, died December 30, 2024, at his home. He was born February 3, 1959, in Wichita, to Burns Melvin Teague and Leona Omega (Hamilton) Teague.

Mary Ellen McDown passed away January 1, 2025 in Medicalodges of Iola. She was born October 1st 1929 to Harold and Orpha Baker. She attended schools in Iola from elementary through high school. She married Wallis McDown in 1946, and they had five children.

James Lee Harkness follows his beloved wife Shirley Mae Harkness and son, Dion L. Harkness, back to God’s embrace on December 27, 2024. He passed at home with his surviving daughter, Eva Beth Harkness, and Grand-daughter, Lisha Mae Harkness, present.

David Alan “Dave” VanHorn, 53, of Le Roy, KS passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Dave was born on May 20, 1971, in WaKeeney, KS the son of Carol James and Ruth Pauline (Helman) VanHorn.

Leon Matthew Church, born on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, left this world unexpectedly on the same day.

Marva J. Blough, 81, of Hesston, Kansas, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at her home. Services are pending and will be announced later by Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston with a full obituary.

Russell Lee Hoffman, 41, of Hutchinson, died December 30, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center, in Wichita, with his family by his side. He was born March 1, 1983, in Wichita, to Thomas E. “Tom” and Marilyn K. (Hermes) Hoffman.

Jared Zachary Adcock was born to Jesse and Margaret Adcock on May 13, 1989 in Liberal, Kansas. He asked Jesus into his heart at the early age of 7 and was baptized at 14 at Holcomb FSB church. He passed from this Earth to a Heavenly home on December 31, 2024.

Robert G. Cocherell, 72, died Dec. 29, 2024 at his home in Spivey.
