Mark Leckey
1963-2025
Mark Leckey, 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Prosper, TX with family around him on January 15, 2025 He was born on May 17, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert John Leckey and Phyllis (Lubbers) Leckey – Hollander.

Mark was very active in numerous school activities and was on the golf team all four years of high school. He graduated from Fredonia High School with the Class of 1981. After graduation he was employed in the retail business starting in Fredonia and then moved to Oklahoma, Florida, and then resided in the Dallas area for the past 34 years.

He was a General Manager and Merchandiser for several well-known retail stores. He was asked to travel to numerous states to set up new stores. He was an extremely hard worker and would help anyone that needed assistance in both his personal and professional life.

Mark was a loving father to Heather Fulghum (Monty), Lauren Punga (Theo), Alexis Leckey, and Madison Leckey, who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them. Among them was definitely his driving skills.

He was a wonderful son to Phyllis Leckey and loved her tremendously.

Mark was preceded in death by Robert J Leckey, Byron Hollander and remaining to cherish his memory are Phyllis Leckey, Heather Fulghum (Monty), Lauren Punga (Theo), Alexis Leckey, Madison Leckey, Don Hollander, Miles Hollander, Chelsea Hollander, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, at 12:30pm at The First Christian Church in Fredonia with services following at 1:30pm. with burial following at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to either: The First Christian Church or The American Cancer Society, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
