Joanne Foyle, 82, passed away peacefully January 9, 2025 at her home in Emporia.  She was born July 16, 1942 in Hillsboro to John and Fern (Newton) Vogt.  She married Harvey Foyle August 7, 1964 in Hillsboro.  Survivors include: husband, Harvey Foyle of Emporia; sons, Douglas (Laura Wurtz) Foyle of Connecticut, Kevin Foyle of Houston, Texas; 4 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Karleen Vogt of Hillsboro.  Predeceased by her brother, Jerold Vogt in 2009.  Celebration of Life 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at First United Methodist Church in Emporia officiated by Pastor Ross Baker.  In Lieu of flowers memorials to First United Methodist Church or College Scholarshiop Fund in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O.
