Glenn L. Miller, 78, of Hutchinson, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at his home
surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1947, in Hutchinson, and was the son of Ervin and Mary (Nisly) Miller.
On March 8, 1969, he married Anna Troyer in Millersburg, OH. They loved each other for 57 years and shared 56 beautiful years of marriage together.
Glenn and Anna started Glenn’s Bulk Food Shoppe and purchased The Gospel Bookstore in Pleasantview. An innovative problem solver, Glenn enjoyed serving people practically with his mechanic skills. He sought Christ and to continually grow in his faith. His life was marked by prayer for family, missionaries, and countless others. He loved reading Scripture and spent hours singing and learning new hymns.
Glenn is survived by: his beloved wife, Anna Miller, Hutchinson; four sons, Wes (Denise) Miller and Ellis (Lynita) Miller of Hutchinson; John Allan (Tina) Miller of Redding, CA; Matthias (Bonita) Miller of Canon City, CO; three daughters, Regina (Misael) Aguilar of El Salvador; Linda (Michael) Walker of Wichita; Christina (Mark) Yoder of Hutchinson; 35 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by siblings Alma Miller, Harold Dean (Ruth) Miller, LaVerne (Rebecca) Miller, Marvin (Ruth) Miller, Loren (Dolores) Miller, and Lillian (Arthur) Nisly.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Julia Ruth Miller; siblings, Paul and Pauline Miller; and brother-in-law, Edward Miller.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Amish Community Building, 5917 W. Mills Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
Memorials are suggested to Strong Tower Mennonite School in El Salvador and Julia’s Memorial Orphanage in Zimbabwe, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
