Edmund Grothe, 89, passed away January 22, 2025 at Salem Home in Hillsboro. He was born October 15, 1935 in Wichita to Edmund and Ruby (Hannaman) Grothe. He married Sylvia Hein April 19, 1997 in Durham. Survivors include: wife, Sylvia Grothe of Hillsboro; sons, Douglas (Jolene) Grothe of Wichita, Michael (Vivian) Grothe of Wamego; daughter, Deborah (Wayne) Conner of Houston, Texas; sister, Joycelyn Harvey of Taylor, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Janet Ratzlaff. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro officiated by Rev. John Werner.
