1955-2024
Curtis Ray Peace, of Colwich, Kansas, passed away, due to a combination of health issues, on December 26, 2024. He was born to Everett and Berniece Peace in Oklahoma on February 28, 1955.
Curtis worked at Cessna as a welder and tool and die maker for 10 years. He worked as CNC tooling machinist at Boeing and Sprint for 30 years.
He always followed the news closely, enjoyed watching football and especially loved cheering the Chiefs on with his wife right beside him.
He is survived by: his wife, of 44 years, Susan K. Peace; his son, John Andeel and daughter-in-law, Tami Andeel of Colorado; his daughter, Cari Hancock; his grandsons, Daniel Carpenter, Mara Hancock and Jesse Hancock; his granddaughter, Carol Carpenter; his great-granddaughters, Scarlett Hancock and Emma (all of Wichita, Kansas); and his numerous Facebook friends.
He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will hold a small personal memorial at his home at a later date. Details will be announced once they are finalized.
