1962-2025
Albert was the son of Joe and Lela (Spencer) Carr and grew up in Crestview, Florida. He dedicated over 20 years of his life to Tufco Flooring, where he worked diligently laying industrial flooring. In April 2012, Albert moved to Humboldt to be closer to his daughter Sarah. Tragically, Sarah passed away shortly after on July 10, 2012.
Albert found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, listening to Classic Rock and Roll music, attending family gatherings, spending time with friends, and playing with his beloved bulldog, Bobo. His warmth and love for those around him left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Sarah Carr; his parents Joe and Lela Carr; his sister Joan Thompson; and his brothers Henry and Ernie Carr.
Albert is survived by his life partner Sherry Maker of Humboldt; his sisters Denise Garrett of Humboldt, Tina Weatherford of Oregon, and Helen Koehn of Florida; his brother Bobby Carr of Georgia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
May Albert’s love for family and the joy he brought to others continue to inspire those who knew him. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home and the family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
