1936-2025
Agnes M. Ziegler, 88, of Wichita, died April 5, 2025, at Kansas Medical Center. She was born October 16, 1936, in Grainfield, KS to Carl and Anna (Zerr) Kaiser.
Agnes was a devoted, loving, and caring mother to her four children. She was a homemaker, a daycare provider, and worked at the Grandstands for the Kansas State Fair for over 40 years. Agnes was the best example of loving everyone unconditionally and she passed that along to her family. She will always be remembered as a warm and kind person to all those around her.
On November 22, 1956, she married Philip Ziegler in Grainfield, Kansas. They shared nearly 64 years of marriage before his death on October 4, 2020.
Agnes is survived by: children, Jim Ziegler (Lori Usher) of Wichita, Doris (Tom) Podany of Wisner, NE, Wanda (Scott) Newton of Pulaski, TN, and Wayne (Jenny) Ziegler of Dripping Springs, TX; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother Leo Kaiser; and sister, Tina Leiker.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Philip Ziegler; grandson, Clint Ziegler; brothers, Bernard Kaiser and John Kaiser; and brother-in-law Jim Leiker.
Private family services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
