Virginia Marie (Dugan) Gehlen, 79, retired chef/cook for the Colwich elementary school passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Janee Michelle Umbarger, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and social worker, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the age of 55. Born June 30, 1969, in Osceola, Iowa, to Edward and Susan (Warner) Adcock, Janee lived a life filled with music, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others.

Patrick D. Palmer, 53, passed away on April 3, 2025, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. Patrick was born on October 7, 1971 in Mt. Vernon, MO, the son of Merl and Judy Palmer.

Earl "Rusty" Coons, age 87, formerly of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg, Kansas.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Alaina Rae Klenklen, who was welcomed into her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Though her time with us was brief, her arrival brought immeasurable joy and love to her family.

Phyllis Marie Howerton, 83, died April 6, 2025 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. The daughter of Irvin and Iantha Young, she was born on August 27, 1941 at the Kingman Hospital.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Valerie Lea Armstrong Driskell, 46, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Hospice House, in her hometown of Hutchinson, KS. Valerie was born on October 3, 1978, the daughter of Steven J. Armstrong and Diane D. (Nece) Mickelson.

Dorothy Ruth Beltz, 103, died April 6, 2025, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born May 10, 1921, in Durham, KS, to Jake and Anna (Ewert) Beltz.

Donald Dean “Don” Reazin, 76, of Ellinwood, Kansas, passed away April 6, 2025, at his home.

Annetta J. "Netta" Reed, 72, of Moran, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. She was born on September 1st ,1952 to Walter J. "Walt" and Iva J. Stotler (Zornes). She was the oldest of 5 siblings. She grew up in the Colony area and later graduated from Crest High School, class of 1971. She married her husband, Larry, on March 20th, 1981. Netta and Larry moved to their family home in rural Moran in the spring of 2004.

Judith Peery, age 84, formerly of Kincaid, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Via Christi Village, in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Joyce Louise Williams Kirkpatrick, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas. She was 85 years young.
