Bullpup JV Football Team Defeats Circle 44-6

TOWANDA, Kan. After a punt on their opening drive against the Circle Thunderbirds Monday night, the McPherson JV football team was able to score on back-to-back 60+ yard plays, as Carter Allen found Bishop Brown and Brock Richardson. With the two-point conversions, the Pups would lead 14-0 after a quarter.

In the second quarter, Allen would rush for a touchdown, and throw a touchdown to Catch Delaney. The Thunderbirds would score their only touchdown in between those possessions, but before the half, Gage Egging scored on a 7-yard touchdown run. The Pups would score their only touchdown in the second half when Kaiser Kanitz found Paxton Ingels for a 20-yard pass and catch, as the Pups would go on to defeat Circle 44-6.

The Bullpup JV moves to 3-1, and they are scheduled to host Winfield at McPherson High School next Monday at 4 p.m. The freshmen are scheduled to travel to Andale, with kickoff at 5 p.m.
