McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — The United Way of McPherson County is very close to making their $300,000 goal for the 2024-25 campaign.
United Way of McPherson County Executive Director Laura Parks told McPherson City Commissioners this morning they have raised $297,000, which while not what they hoped for, is still a lot of money to go back into the community.
In response, Mayor Tom Brown issued a challenge to the community to make up that remaining $3,000 shortfall by the end of the week.
If you would like to give, the easiest way to do so would be to drop off your donation at the United Way office in the Chamber of Commerce Building at 306 North Main.
