McPHERSON, Kan. — Curt Deneke first came to volunteer at the ReUse It Center through the Omega Program and soon settled in volunteering through receiving. He was hired as a janitor and keeps the store looking great! He is also the face behind tally table and also does the bike repair.
When asked what the ReUse It Center means to him, Deneke said, “I enjoy coming in and fixing stuff that then can help someone else out. I like that we are a resource for those in need in our community. Volunteering here gives me a purpose and without this place I don’t know what I’d do.”
