Mennonite Central Committee
Mennonite Central Committee is a global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through disaster relief and support for economic development in under-developed countries. In all our programs we are committed to relationships with our local partners and churches.
Marquette Ministerial Alliance
The Marquette Ministerial Alliance consists of the churches of the Marquette community. The Alliance helps people who need food, rent, or medical assistance. They also help sponsor the community Thanksgiving meal, and at Christmas time, its member churches provide Christmas gifts for needy families through an Angel tree program and bring cheer baskets and carol to those who are at the Rivers View Nursing Home, the homebound and/or elderly. During the summer months when school is not in session, the Alliance coordinates a free summer lunch program at noon for the children of the Marquette community.
