MCPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson City Commissioners have approved a $235,000 purchase of new accessible playground equipment to be installed in Wall Park. This will replace playground equipment removed from the park in 2019 for safety reasons.
The equipment is being acquired from Cunningham Equipment, whose proposal was the overwhelming choice of those who took part in online surveys and in a public input meeting.
The purchase was funded entirely through donations from Larry and Pat Bruce and another anonymous donor.
