HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department will be holding a press conference at Fire Station 1 (2222 N. Main St.,) on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m.
The conference (open to the public) will be the unveiling of a Safe Haven Baby Box, which is one of a few in Kansas under the Newborn Infant Protection Act K.S.A. 38-2282.
Guest speakers will kick off the unveiling, and those present will be able to take a look at Fire Station 1’s Safe Haven Baby Box.
