BOULDER, Colo. (MacBulldogs.com) – The McPherson College women’s track and field team turned in a solid performance at the Potts Invitational, which was hosted by Colorado.
At the two-day event, the Bulldogs went four-five in the shot put. Kara Alexander registered a mark of 12.33m for fourth place, narrowly missing a top-three finish. Teammate Cara Shultz was right behind her, snagging fifth with an effort of 12.18m. The duo garnered top-eight performances in the weight throw. Shultz bested Alexander for seventh place. Shultz tallied a mark of 15.03m while Alexander posted a mark of 12.76m.
The Bulldogs return to action Jan. 16-18 at their next meet, which is hosted by the University of Nebraska.
