WICHITA, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — The Bulldogs were unable to maintain the momentum from Wednesday’s win as they were defeated by the Friends University Falcons 6-0 on Saturday (Oct 5).
McPherson’s offense, after putting up seven goals in their win against Sterling, only recorded a single shot on goal which occurred in the 29th minute when Caitlin Buendia’s shot was saved by Falcons’ goalkeeper Nia Baker.
Keily Larosee led the way for the Falcons, recording a pair of goals on the day. Lizzy Priddy, Lina Willemsen, Pliar Flores, and Gianna Honda also recorded goals in the contest.
McPherson returns to action on Wednesday, October 9 for another road matchup against Bethel College. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
