FORT WORTH, Tex. (CCCTigers.com) – After winter weather changed game dates and times, the Tigers finally opened up 2025 this past weekend with a road trip against Texas Wesleyan and Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

Facing the Rams of Texas Wesleyan, the Tigers got off to a slow start scoring just 13 points in the first half. Turnovers and Fouls plagued the Tigers all night as they lost the turnover battle 20-12. Chloe Clevenger led the way with 9 points and 4 rebounds, Mia Kittner tallied 8 points off the bench as well as 4 rebounds. The Tigers would fall to the Rams 88-32 and turn their attention to the Drovers of USAO who they played just two days later.

While the Tigers got off to a better start this time around, the Drovers offense came out of the gates hot. The Tigers found themselves down 48-22 at halftime and made needed adjustments that helped them in the second half. Charmayne Marshall exploded for 16 points in the second half which helped spark the Tiger offense. This would not be enough as the Tigers were downed by the Drovers 80-57 in Chickasha.
