SALINA, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — The McPherson College Bulldogs dropped a KCAC matchup Saturday (Feb. 3) to the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes 67-55 in Salina, Kan.
Madelyn Hankins led the Bulldogs in the scoring column with 11 points, while Mikaela Boyd added ten points. Joze’ Baker and Chloe Clevenger each pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, while Matisyn Moses blocked three shots.
The Coyotes jumped out to a 16-7 lead after the first ten minutes, then pushed their lead to 36-15 at the break. KWU led by as many as 32 in the third quarter.
MC outscored the Coyotes 25-11 in the fourth quarter, shooting 78.6 percent (11-for-14) from the field.
Daijane Adams paced the Coyotes with 14 points, including shooting 4-for-6 from the three-point line. LaMyah Ricks added 12 points and three assists.
The Bulldogs are back in action Wednesday (Feb. 7) to take on Evangel University. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
