Women’s Basketball Bulldogs Roll Manhattan Christian

McPHERSON, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) – The McPherson College Bulldogs scored 100 points to rout Manhattan Christian College 100-24 on day two of the McPherson College Classic Saturday (Nov. 4) inside the Sport Center.

The Bulldogs scored over the century mark for the first time since the 2020-21 home-opener when they beat Barclay 107-83.

Gillian Rodgers led the way with 18 points and 10 assists, including nine offensive rebounds, to pick up her first double-double of the season.

All but three players scored for the Bulldogs, who put up 99 total shots, and forced the Thunder into 39 turnovers. Rodgers and Chloe Clevenger each finished with four steals, while Jayla Moore and Reaghan Borman added three takeaways.

The Bulldogs never trailed, opening up the game on a 16-2 run before cruising to a 24-5 lead after the first quarter.

MC will be back in action on Tuesday (Nov. 7) for the Mayor’s Cup against crosstown rival Central Christian College. Tipoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.
