HILLSBORO, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — The McPherson College Bulldogs were held to just 22.9 percent shooting from the field Wednesday (Jan. 10), falling to the Tabor College Bluejays 78-33 in Hillsboro, Kan.
The Bulldogs connected on just one of their nine three point attempts. Chloe Clevenger paced the Bulldogs with 11 points and four rebounds.
Tabor outrebounded the Bulldogs 33-21 with a 17-6 advantage on the offensive end.
Kassidy Beam and Alyvia Owens led the Bluejays with 16 points apiece, while Beam pulled down seven rebounds.
The Bluejays were efficient on the offensive end, shooting 46.9 percent (30-for-64) from the field, and 33.3 percent (9-for-27) from beyond the arc.
Tabor led the whole way, mounting a 19-6 lead after the first ten minutes before taking a 42-14 advantage into halftime. From there, the Bluejays maintained control throughout the second half.
MC will be back in action Saturday (Jan. 13) to take on the York University Panthers inside the Sport Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
