On Friday, the McPherson High Wrestlers were in action for a boys JV, and girls varsity tournament in Remington, where they both finished 6th in their respective tournament, which featured over 15 teams. On Saturday, the girls JV and boys varsity team took to the mat in Junction City, where the boys finished 7th out of 20 schools.
Ciara Rawson was able to claim gold in Remington, the sophomore is listed as the second best wrestler in her respective weight class in the 4-1A Girls KWCA Poll. Freshman, Lexi Patterson has also been listed as a top 6 wrestler, she finished fourth in Remington. For the boys, senior Treyton Pelnar, and freshman, Cooper Reeves were listed as top 6 wrestlers in Class 4A, Reeves finished first in Junction City, along with Julian Glover.
