KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Chiefs.com) – Three members of the Kansas City Chiefs earned spots on the annual Pro Football Writers of America “All-NFL” team on Monday as center Creed Humphrey, guard Joe Thuney and defensive tackle Chris Jones each landed on the team.

This is the third-straight season on the PFWA All-NFL team for Jones, who ranked sixth among all players in terms of pressures this season (74). He logged at least six pressures in seven of his 15 games this year, and in Saturday’s victory over Houston, Jones logged a critical third-down sack late in the first quarter.

Thuney earned a spot on the team for a second-straight season after ranking second among all guards in 2024 in terms of pass-blocking according to Pro Football Focus. Additionally, in four starts at left tackle over the last several weeks, Thuney yielded just one sack despite facing some of the top pass-rushers in the NFL.

Lastly, this marks the first-career spot on the PFWA All-NFL team for Humphrey, who led all centers in offensive snaps in 2024 with 1,112, and on those, Pro Football Focus ranked Humphrey as the league’s best overall and pass-blocking center.

All three players were integral to the Chiefs’ run to a seventh-straight AFC Championship Game, and with a trip to Super Bowl LIX on the line, that trio will take on the Buffalo Bills this upcoming Sunday.
