HILLSBORO, Kan. — Hesston came out as the overall winning team at the Hillsboro Invitational on Tuesday with 45 points, followed by Pratt with 36, and Wichita Collegiate with 33 points. Abilene took fourth, Hillsboro fifth and Nickerson placed sixth in the invitational.
Bailey Jackson from Pratt High School won (8-2) in the No. 1 Singles Division against Molly Martin of Hesston.
Aubrey Kohen from Hesston won No. 2 singles (8-7) against Kate Jackson from Pratt.
Hesston High School’s Kori Kramer and Elyse Griffin won (8-4) in the No. 1 doubles against Tatum Downing and Langley Overman of Wichita Collegiate.
Wichita Collegiate’s Caroline Kuglich and Anne Marie Olson won (8-5) the No. 2 doubles against Hesston’s Sydney Riley and Keimarla Thompson.
