Sterling Volleyball’s McClanahan Earns Second KCAC All-Conference Honor

WICHITA, Kan. (SCWarriors.com) – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2024 Women’s Volleyball All-Conference honorees and individual award winners, as voted on by the conference’s women’s volleyball head coaches. Oklahoma Wesleyan University and McPherson College shared the regular season conference title, with matching 12-1 records in KCAC play.

The Eagles took home several of this season’s individual honors, with a few honorees being repeat winners. Evelyn Rohrberg of Oklahoma Wesleyan was named the KCAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year for the second season in a row, and was also named the Attacker of the Year, a new honor this season. Teammate Sydney Collins earned the conference’s Setter of the Year award for the second season in a row. The Eagles’ head coach, Tracie Gillette, was named the KCAC Women’s Volleyball Coach of the Year by her peers for the third consecutive season.

Maia Rubio, also of Oklahoma Wesleyan, earned the KCAC Women’s Volleyball Freshman of the Year honor. The Eagles’ assistant coach, Jon Updyke, was selected as the KCAC Women’s Volleyball Assistant Coach of the Year.

The final individual honor went to Kenzie Kuxhaus of Ottawa University, who was named the KCAC Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Year.
