Neosho Women’s Soccer Opens Season Strong With a 2-0 Victory Over Crowder

Neosho, MO (GoNeosho.com) –  Neosho women’s Soccer made the journey to Crowder College with hopes of securing a much-needed win to start their season strong. They delivered with a solid 2-0 victory over Crowder. The game started on the right foot for Neosho, as they took an early lead in the 27th minute with a well-executed goal finished by Olivia Gibson assisted by Sarai Starkweather. Neosho continued to apply pressure and dominated the midfield, creating numerous opportunities. Their persistence paid off when they doubled the lead with another goal from Jerusalem Rodriguez in the 50th minute assisted by Mia Ferioli, sealing their control of the match.

Neosho’s defense remained steadfast throughout the game, keeping Crowder at bay and preventing any serious threats on goal. With this win, Neosho looks to carry their momentum into their next match, where they will face Northern Oklahoma College at home on Wednesday, August 28th. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the Chanute Community Sports Complex.
