PRATT, Kan. (GoNeosho.com) – Neosho Men’s soccer looking to win their conference for the 3rd season in a row started strong Saturday with a win over Pratt to take home 3 points. The Panthers start strong again just 4 minutes into the game with a goal from #14 Dylan Roberts assisted by #3 Lucas Comitre. The Panthers didn’t hold on long as Pratt equalized just minutes later. The Panthers put away another 11 minutes into the game with a header from #8 Jake Baldwin assisted by #3 Joe Taylor. The Panthers couldn’t hold onto the lead and conceded just minutes later again to Pratt, to make the score 2-2. Neosho finished the first half strong with a beautiful finish in the 39th minute from #7 Paul Eder assisted by #3 Joe Taylor. With the Panthers leading 3-2 going into the second half they look to continue to dominate the midfield and force mistakes from Pratt’s defense. Their tactics seemed to work as Neosho scored another to go up 4-2 in the 65th minute with a goal from #9 Callum Niven assisted by #14 Dylan Roberts. Neosho finished the game strong with another goal from #8 Jake Baldwin assisted by #3 Joe Taylor for his 3rd assist of the game. Neosho Men’s Soccer is gearing up for its second conference game on Wednesday, September 11th, at 7:30 pm at Chanute Community Sports Complex.
