CHANUTE, Kan. (GoNeosho.com) – The Neosho County men’s basketball team lost a conference game at home to KJCAA league leading Johnson County Community College 70-51 on Wednesday. Johnson County broke open a close game late in the second half after trailing 37-35 at halftime.
Sophomore Damian Jones led the Panthers in scoring with 13 points, with redshirt sophomore Michael Doria adding 12 points. Freshman Adyn Prophete had 8 rebounds to lead the Panthers in rebounding. Damian Jones had 3 assists to lead Neosho County.
Neosho County is now 9-13 on the season and 2-6 in conference play. The Panthers resume play on Saturday afternoon with conference game on the road at Highland Community College at 3:00.
