CHANUTE, Kan. (GoNeosho.com) – Neosho County’s standout guard, Jiyani Thompson, has been named an NJCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Honorable Mention All-American!
Thompson capped off a stellar season as the third-leading scorer in the KJCCC, averaging 15.1 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. A First-Team All-KJCCC selection, she was a major contributor to Neosho’s nationally ranked campaign.
She finished with:
4th-best 3-point percentage in the KJCCC at 35.1%
8th in total steals (58)
Led the Panthers to a 19-8 overall record, contributing to their third straight 20+ win season
Her consistency, leadership, and two-way impact helped keep #94FeetOfChaos and #TheNeoshoWay rolling strong all year long.
