Multiple Local Wrestlers to Advance to State Championships

Hutch High finished 9^th in the team standings and qualified seven wrestlers for state at the 5A regional that wrapped up Saturday in Arkansas City. The Salt Hawks were led by Cruz Cannon, who lost in the finals at 106 to Oscar Gauna of Goddard and Camden Jensen who was 3^rd at 285.. Great Bend was the runner-up to Goddard in the regional team standings, qualifying ten wrestlers for state, with Newton 5^th and sending seven.
