LINDSBORG, Kan. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Men’s Soccer team played against the Evangel Valor at home.
Evangel caused danger straight away after kickoff with a long ball to the wing. Eventually, the Swedes would concede after not being able to handle the pressure that Evangel was throwing at them. Two goals would be scored by Evangel in the first half, capitalizing on mistakes in the back by the Swedes.
In the second half, the Swedes would have three opportunities but could not get the ball into the back of the net. Evangel would also get another goal and put down the Swedes once and for all ending the game 3-0 in their favor.
Bethany goalkeeper Max Goldstein would make 11 saves on the night as he played a stellar match.
