LAS VEGAS, Nev. (MacBulldogs.com) – It was a busy holiday season for the Bulldogs as they competed in the Glenn Carlson Invitational (Dec 18-Dec 19) and the Collegiate Shoot-Out (Dec 20-21) in Las Vegas to wrap up the 2024 side of their schedule.
The Bulldogs first took on the Glenn Carlson Invitational where they finished the first day of competition in 23rd after scoring a combined total pinfall of 4,341 after five team games with a high of 916 in their final outing. Upon completing the event, MC was able to end in 20th overall with a total pinfall of 2,680 across a trio of team games. Jasmine Bridges led the way individually, finishing 52nd overall with a total average of 186.3 throughout her eight appearances and scoring a high of 219. Kayla Wood, Kaycee Carter, and Monica Pollock were all also able to find themselves finishing in the Top 100.
After a short break and some sightseeing, MC returned to the lanes of Las Vegas in the Collegiate Shootout. Day one saw the Bulldogs finish in 27th after five team games with a total pinfall of 4,249 with the highest being a 894 score in the fourth game. The Bulldogs, much like the previous tournament, were able to end things off by jumping up three total spots, finishing 24th overall after a pinfall of 2,806 across 16 total baker games. Bridges once again headlined the MC effort, finishing alongside Alyssa Porcelli in the top 100 overall.
McPherson hits the lanes for the first time in 2025 in the Kegel-ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic. Day one of the tournament will start on January 18 at 7:30 a.m. with day two starting at the same time the next day.
