CHANUTE, Kan. (GoNeosho.com) – The Neosho County Women’s basketball team notched their fifth conference win of the season with a 70-51 victory over the visiting Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Chloe Parker led the Panthers in scoring with 16 points, shooting 3-5 from behind the arc, and 7 rebounds. Lelani Carter poured in 13 points, shooting 3-4 from the three-point line, and 4 steals. Natalie Williams added 8 points. Lila Hartness and Amrri Thompson each had 5 points.
The #23 ranked Panthers (15-5 Overall, 5-2 KJCCC) return to conference play on Wednesday, February 5th when they host the #2 ranked Johnson County Cavaliers (23-0 Overall, 7-0 KJCCC). Tip off set for 5:30 PM.
