WICHITA, Kan. – The KCAC Conference announced changes to the original men’s & women’s basketball tournament schedules Thursday, Feb. 7 via social media and their website.

The conference championship games will now be held at the higher seed’s home arena. The men’s championship will take place Monday, March 3 and the women’s championship will be Tuesday, March 4. Both championships were originally scheduled to take place at Park City Arena in Park City, Kan. on Monday, March 3. The games in Park City were part of a KCAC tradition they deemed “Championship Monday”.

The following schedule was approved:
Men’s Tournament
Quarterfinals: Wednesday, Feb. 26 (7 PM) at higher seed in each matchup.
Semifinals: Saturday, March 1 (2 PM) at higher seed in each matchup.
Championship Final: Monday, March 3 (7 PM) at higher seed in each matchup.Women’s Tournament
Quarterfinals: Wednesday, Feb. 27 (7 PM) at higher seed in each matchup.
Semifinals: Saturday, March 1 (7 PM) at higher seed in each matchup.
Championship Final: Tuesday, March 4 (7 PM) at higher seed in each matchup.
The top eight out of 14 teams will make reach KCAC tournament. Final seeding will be determined following the final regular season games on Saturday, Feb. 22.
