HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The first NJCAA Division I Softball regular-season rankings were released on Monday and the Hutchinson Community College softball team added a doubleheader for Tuesday at Fun Valley.
The Blue Dragons (10-3) dropped three spots from the preseason NJCAA Rankings to No. 20 in the first regular-season poll of the season.
Also on Monday, after losing four games on the schedule last week to the Bethany College JV and Hesston College, the Blue Dragons have added a doubleheader with the Sterling College Junior Varsity at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Fun Valley.
Both games will be streamed on the Blue Dragon Sports Network beginning at 1:15 p.m.

The Blue Dragons have now been ranked in nine-straight NJCAA polls dating back to last season. The Dragons started the 2023 season ranked No. 17 in the preseason rankings.
The three games the Blue Dragons have lost this season have been to a Division I Team receiving votes in Eastern Oklahoma State and the NJCAA Division II-No. 1-ranked team in Murray State.
With the addition of the Sterling JV games, the Blue Dragons will play six games this week.
Hutchinson opens Jayhawk Conference play on Wednesday at Colby and then plays No. 17 Butler at 1 and 3 p.m. on Saturday in the conference home opener.
