HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Because of the high potential of cold and wet weather on Sunday, the Hutchinson Community College Athletic Department has moved the Blue Dragon women’s soccer team’s opening-round Region VI Tournament game has been rescheduled.
The fourth-seeded Blue Dragons (12-4-3) will play host to fifth-seeded Butler (9-5-5) at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Salthawk Sports Complex.
The game was originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, but the forecast for then is 38 degrees with better than a 50-percent chance of rain and potentially and rain-snow mix.
The game will be streamed live on the Blue Dragon Sports Network at 5:55 p.m.
The Hutchinson/Butler winner will play the Barton/Coffeyville winner on Thursday November 2 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
