HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For the second-straight week, a Hutchinson Community College women’s soccer player earned Jayhawk Conference Division I Player of the Week.
Off back-to-back games where she set or tied career highs, Blue Dragon sophomore forward Adriana Delgado was named the KJCCC Division I Player of the Week on Tuesday.
For the week, Delgado had six goals and three assists for a 15-point week in three games. Against Dodge City, Delgado netted the game winner, tying her career high with two goals and establishing a new career bests with two assist and six points in a 4-1 victory.
Delgado reset her career highs for goals and points with four goals and nine points in a 10-0 rout of Crowder. Delgado’s hat trick is the 98th in program history.
Delgado is the second-straight Blue Dragon to earn conference weekly honors, joining Kaitlyn Edwards, who won the award last week.
