LINDBORG, Kan. – (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Swede Men’s Basketball hosted the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes in one of the KCAC’s biggest rivalries on Wednesday, February 7th.
Kansas Wesleyan would score first, but JD Carson would answer back with a layup and then assist Will Dominguez with a dunk to take the lead. Both teams would go blow for blow through the first five minutes, but the Coyotes would begin to gain momentum with an and-one three-point shot.
Bethany would show sparks of dominance, cutting into the Coyote lead multiple times, but Kansas Wesleyan would rebound every time and ultimately take this one 82-60.
Maurice Cudjo II would have the best game of his career with 23 points (career high), 4 assists (career high), 4 steals (tied career high), and 3 rebounds. Will Dominguez would tie his career high in points with 9 while also grabbing 8 rebounds.
