WICHITA, Kan. (SCWarriors.com) – Korynn Clason of Sterling College and Taylor Jackson of Friends University have earned the KCAC Women’s Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Dec. 11-17 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Offensive Player of the Week

Clason continues to put the Warriors’ offense on her shoulders. She led the team in scoring once again, co-led in assists, was third in rebounding, and led the charge in a 4th quarter comeback win. Down 10 heading into the fourth quarter, Clason scored 15 points in the quarter to lead the charge and get Sterling their second win in back-to-back nights. She shot an incredible 21-21 this week from the free throw line, making it 38 in a row dating back to December 2nd. This marks the second consecutive week in which Clason has been named the KCAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week.
