Casey Lippoldt Named New Monarchs Skipper

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Hutchinson Monarchs organization has announced the hiring of a new Head Coach. Casey Lippoldt will be taking the reins of the program in its 15th season.

Lippoldt has been coaching since 2009, where he started with the American Legion program in Pratt and was a student assistant coach at Emporia State University. He has made coaching stops at El Dorado high school, the Derby Twins and most recently as an assistant with the Monarchs where he also played his final two summers of collegiate baseball.

Lippoldt replaces longtime Monarch’s coach Deron McCue. He and his wife, Tiffany, have two sons.

Ryan Pinkall will step into the role of assistant coach for the club. Ryan is a Kansas native, originally from Pratt. He played collegiately at Friends University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Pinkall also played and coached in the American Legion program with Head Coach Casey Lippold.

Pinkall is currently a biology instructor at Hutchinson Community College. He also officiates football for the MIAA.

The Hutchinson Monarchs’ season opens June 2-3 with a two-game series in Kingman.
