McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson Bullpup Softball team ended their 2024 season in Regionals Tuesday, May 14 after defeating Rose Hill 4-0 but falling to Andale/Garden Plain 8-5 in the Regional Championship.
In the Rose Hill game, McPherson allowed seven hits, but let nobody cross the plate. Timely hitting by Josie Fitzmorris, Reanna Eilrich and Karter Alvord gave the Bullpups the 4-0 Regional Semifinals win.
In the Andale/Garden Plain Regional Championship game, the Indians scored 6 straight to open the game. McPherson’s comeback effort in the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings were not enough due to three homers by Andale.
McPherson ends their season at 23-5.
