McPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson High School Boys Golf headed to the Tallgrass Country Club in Wichita for the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League (AVCTL) Div. 3 & 4 meet finishing in 3rd place overall, 2nd amongst Div. 3 schools.
All six Bullpup varsity golfers who participated finished in the top 23 on the leaderboard, including Hudson Krehbiel, Blaise Hoover and Paxton Ingels finishing in the top 10, earning them First Team AVCTL Div. 3 honors. Teegan Haines finished 15th, earning him Second Team honors.
The team will next head to the Regionals meet at the Forewinds Golf Course in Hugoton Monday, May 13. They will go Hugoton, Andale, Buhler, Clearwater, Mulvane, Pratt, Scott City, and Ulysses.
