Bulldog Men’s Track Competes at the University of Colorado

BOULDER, Colo. (MacBulldogs.com) – The McPherson College men’s track and field team performed well at the Potts Invitational, which was hosted by Colorado.

At the two-day event, the Bulldogs’ Lamar Gordon notched a fifth-place effort in the shot put. He accounted for a mark of 14.96m. Gordon accounted for a sixth-place effort in the weight throw. He accounted for an effort of 16.01m.

In the running events, Dominic Essumang started Saturday with a fifth-place finish after crossing the line in 8.70 for the 60m hurdles. Amarion White was not far behind, taking seventh in 9.03. Essumang earned a fifth-place finish in the 200m. He turned in a strong effort of 22.51 in the race.

Head coach Damien Brigham‘s team returns to action Jan. 16-18 at their next meet, which is hosted by the University of Nebraska.
