Buhler 54, Circle 14

BUHLER, Kan. – Buhler used a nearly perfect first half to race away to a 41-0 halftime lead over Circle Friday night at Crusader Stadium. Tailback Ben Clouse gouged the T-bird’s defense for over 100 rushing yards in the first quarter. He finished the game with 210 yards on 17 carries and four touchdowns.

Circle did make some noise in the third quarter, scoring on a pair of Mason Stobart touchdown passes. Stobart threw for 190 yards but was also intercepted three times, including twice in the fourth quarter.

Buhler’s defense continues to impress, holding a fourth straight opponent under 100 yards rushing. At the midpoint in the season, opposing teams are averaging a minuscule 12 rushing yards per game.

Buhler (3-1) hosts Wamego (3-1) in week five this Friday at Crusader Stadium.
